My surgery was June 12 in Detroit with Dr. Carlin, Henry Ford Hospital. I'm doing pretty good. I go for 2 week pre-op today.

Hi everyone! First postoperative day... Alive and well! Had my first liquid oral pain med w ice chips. Now having my first Popsicle. Lots of little burps. Taking my walks and using my incentive spirometer. So far so good. Oh and the MD said my liver looked great!

Best wishes to all! Praying for smooth recovery with no complications for everyone. We can all meet back up on here for support. Love that we can all relate & compare to do's & not to do's! Talk to you all soon, hopefully tomorrow, but if not as soon as I feel up to it!

Ohhh my goodness, my surgery is tomorrow at 1:30 pm. I'm so excited, but it's starting to freak me out a bit!

My surgery is also tomorrow. I can't believe it's happening. Positive thoughts everyone... We can do this!
