Never give up guys. It's hard in the begining and can get harder when the weight loss slows but if you remember it's a tool and you use it as such success becomes easy. When you mess up just reflect then get back on it. Still got 20 odd pounds to lose but im getting there. :) Good luck peeps :)

artsy- wish I was 2 weeks! lol my surgery was Friday the 11th... I believe the same day as you? I'm doing okay.. pretty sore and trying to

figure out how to get all the liquids in. message me and we can talk more!

Hey Lolly,

I was sleeved May 8th. So far so good. I know about trying to get all the liquids in. My doc told me right before I was wheeled into surgery to not worry about protein this week. So far I eat soup broths, sf jello, water, crystal light --- you know the drill. I'm walking more and more each day, probably up to a couple of miles a day. I don't want to weigh myself just yet; I'm waiting til my doc appt this Wednesday. I've been able to get out of the house each day to run errands or pick up deli soups. I strain the soups, but the different broths are delicious. I'm going to make a tortilla soup tomorrow (of course strained). Starting Thursday I will introduce protein drinks. Do you feel the liquids going down your throat? Wishing your wonderful recovery. Hugs& prayers going your way.
