Ok girls, Sorry, but I have been super busy and going crazy getting these girls ready for school. My baby girl is in prek and I am all alone!!!!!:cry I missed her today, it was so hard to be without my Dee!! She had so much fun at school! I asked her today if she missed me and she said "Yes Momma, I missed you but I didn't cry for you." It was so cute. I said baby Momma missed you and I cried for you and we gave each other a big hug. She is my little precious baby girl. Now all three of my precious little ones are off to school and going to get smart and take care of mama! :)

Ok I am sure you all are sick of me now so I am off of here!

awwe, I ^kinda^ know how you feel...

TODAY was our first day back - and my Anne's first day of BIG school kindergarten. She didnt want me to walk her in - only wanted big brother to drop her off at her door - then he goes on to his room.

So grown-up. independant. happy.

She even looked like an angel this morning.

where did the time go?

I just had her yesterday.

Back to kinda knowing how you feel...

I still have BeBe at home - he's 3.

Now, when HE starts BIG school, Im gonna be crying in my Soup for a week!

Although "they" (our elders) say that this is a fairly easy transition for us .

When my kids were 5 & 7 it was the hardest day of my life sending them both off to school & being home alone. My 5 yr. old went to an all day kindergarten so that made it even worse!! I can feel those feelings all over again as I type this!!! :cry

But, lo & behold I found myself pregnant again & she is now a 2 yr. old. I am already dreading the day when I drop her off to kindergarten.

OK ladies, don't blink! Before you know it, they'll be going out on dates, married, and moving out! Of course, after surviving their teen years, you may be ready for them to leave!

I know, it was easier today and each day will get easier. It was so hard yesterday though. I missed her. I missed her today too. And she was soo excited to see Mommy pull around the loop to pick her up. That is awesome to see too. Tomorrow is day three. <sigh>

Well, I remember my first day of kindergarten, almost 20 something years ago. It was catholic school in NY. I remember the kids asking "Is That Your Grandma and Grandpa?". I literally died and never wanted to be seen with my parents again. My parents had grey hair and stretchy clothes and the old kids had 20 something moms. My mom was 40 when she had me, so this explains itself.

Sadly, the third anniversary of her journey to heaven is approaching. I miss her so much. My dad died 10 years ago.... Sorry for the sob story.

Chloe begins kindergarten on the 25th for a 1/2 day, Dh is beginning school with more pot holes in the way. Looks like CMS is getting my husband instead of gaston county. Were upset about this.

Chloe cannot wait to start school, her teacher sent her a post card introducing herself. I feel great about here starting school, just sad because it means she's growning up.

I'm excited about my transition. ??? of course it's not a full day at school. My daughter is (almost) 7 and starts 2nd grade, and my son is starting 3yo pre-school this year, so he'll be gone M-Th mornings...home at noon. Not too bad! I'm going to Curves on M and W!!!! Wow! I can't wait! Am I a bad Mom? LOL

Enjoy your babies while you can. My son moves out tomorrow he starts his first year of college on Monday. Its breaking my heart to see him pack his things. My daughter moved out two years ago starting her college education I talk to her everyday but still not the same as her being home. I miss her terribly still and I know I will miss my son just as much. Now its just going to be me and my DH again. I truly wish mine were back in Kindergarden again.

My daughter starts Prek at the magnet school on Sept 6th.

I'm happy that we dont have to pay daycare to the tune of $650 a month, but sad that she is starting "big school"

I guess I'll never be satisfied.

:)

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
