What are they looking for with the psychological exam? I'm worried about not passing it but I don't know what they are looking for.

They want to make sure that you don't think that every one of your problems is going to magically vanish with weight loss. Weight loss brings on a new set of challenges. They want to know that you're doing this for yourself, and not to please someone else. Relax and be yourself. They are very good at sensing phoniness. Just be who you are.

I was in your same boat a week ago. All I can say is RELAX .It wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be. I was reading so many horror stories about the the eval and mine was NOTHING like that!! As long a you're yourself and honest you'll be fine.

The dr will ask about your past life growing up,future goals,family history,current stressors (work,children,school ect)
