Sounds like you had over eaten. Straighten your body up and allow your sleeve to move. This will make room for a tiny bit of food to shift around. Keep your bites really small and take a little time between bites. No worries, these are things that tell you you ate tooooo much. ;)

Walk around, that always helps me... Also Gas-X helps too.

If you over eat do you automatically stretch your stomach? And how do you know you have a leak?

I lay down. Thats what works for me

Laying down for me, makes me want to vomit... Walking is much better.

I have Bern so good about not over eating until yesterday. I over ate again and I went to the mall and walked and walked. I was distracted while eating and had not realized how much I had already eaten. Lesson learned.

What were you eating at 5 weeks

At 5 weeks a mixture of mushies and turkey and chicken. I am at 7 going on 8 weeks.

What would you make with turkey and chicken? They are not mushies

Turkey and chicken were cold cuts, the low sodium fat free kind. It was on my foods to eat before I went to regular food at 6 weeks.

More solid Proteins are more difficult to go down. I know with cold cuts I can only eat about two pieces before I feel very full.

In terms of being full, I'm having a hard time figuring out when I actually am full. The only way I know is when I'm hit with a sudden wave of nausea and by then it's too late. I'm trying to undereat my sleeve but it has been difficult finding that "sweet spot" where I am full enough that I won't be hungry in an hour but not too full.

Mews,

I think I undereat to avoid the full feeling, the two times I have over eaten... All I could think of was I was going to get that horrible pain I was use to with my lap band.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
