Yayyyy! Mine pains have finally lightened up(I hope). I feel good! I am up to walking a mile since surgery. I guess that is good since I'm only 8 days out from surgery. I'm a little bummed out though. I haven't lost ANY weight in the last 2 days! I don't know what to do. I'm only taking in aprox. 400 calories. Maybe I'm not giving it enough time. Idk...

Hi Jennifer I was sleeved one day before you. I recently had 3 days where I didn't lose a thing! It was si disheartening especially when your are only eating around 400 calories. But the weight has started falling off again so don't lose heart.

Wow' 23 lbs that is awesome! I think I'm doing pretty good emotionally. Sometimes I think, just what have I done! I wouldn't change it for

Nothing though. I'm still disappointed about not loosing as much as I has suspected I would. :( I think a lot of it is I'm not using the bathroom regular. Are u having any problems with that? How are you doing emotionally?

Emotionally has def been hard! I cry a lot, but I have good support that help a lot. I think to myself too "what did I do?" it gets better each day. At first I wasnt really using the restroom, but since I've been exercising it helped a lot!!

[*]Jen' date=' I was sleeved 4/4 and have lost 8lbs. I was really frustrated-as my cal intake has been around 400per day as well. My nut said that my body is in starvation mode and I actually need more Protein and calories. Hopefully week 2 or 3 I will get my BIG #. We should just relax a little and learn how to use our new tools! Are you getting in your 64 oz Water every day? That has been difficult for me due to nausea.

[/quote']

I'm still not getting all of my Water in! It's hard!! I have made it up to 56 oz.

Hi everyone!

I was sleeved on 4/3/2012!! I'm feeling discouraged though because I have stalled and I was wondering if this has happened to any of you!? I'm really worried. I'm walking about 2 miles 4 days out of the week already. I'm getting all my Protein in. Please any feedback would be so helpful!

Yes same happened to me. I had mine April 3 too! Dr said its normal right now we lose mostly muscle while our stomach heals. When healed you can intake more protein and gain muscle and lbs will start rolling off she said.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
