Very important to know everything that can happen.....also know that it is very uncommen in the sleeve. I have never had this happen to me. I dont ever watch carbs or sugar. The thing that would be good to try if you are having this is to make sure to avoid the foods that cause it for you.....and slowly add them back in.... if you try something and it causes the symptoms, dont have it for a while, then try again at a later date. your stomach is like a baby's right after surgery, gotta take it slow. good luck to all!

Be aware that you can also have adverse reactions to sucrolose(splenda) that sounds JUST like that! For his very reason i cannot have ANY thing with this sugar substitute. Makes me soooo ill. It is in most Protein Shakes and supplements. This could be your problem!

I too was told that my symptoms were dumping symptoms. I was a band to sleeve patient. I am 18 days out and it has gotten better. I am however still nauseous daily. I am in bed right now because I drank a Protein Shake with more milk this time and can barely function due to nausea. I notice the evening really give me a hard time.

just humor yourself and get rid of the surcorlose and see if it helps! if it does, then its the surcrolose! for serious! the symptoms are the same!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
