Yes 2 more days! I'm so nervous lol

I'm sure we will both be fine! I'm more excited than nervous! However driving to the hospital and waiting to go back will probably kill me!! Lol

Things are good. Just physically drained, no energy. Lack of food, but exercising is taking its toll. Other than that I am down 45 Lbs.

I got a ride. Once there I was so busy with everything they were doing I didn't have a much time to dwell on what was going on.

45 pounds is awesome!! I am definitely worried about the no energy. I have a demanding job in that aspect. I took an extra 2 weeks off work to get my stuff together. :)

What do you do (work)? I only took 9 work days off. People thought I was crazy, But i had to go back just to stay busy. Being drained is most likely my own fault, I tend to push myself. Ex. they couldn't keep me in the hospital bed. I was up walking laps around nurses station. Kept teasing me saying I was training for a marathon. lol

I was sleeved 2/12, amd the first 2 weeks I had no energy at all. Now I am on creamed food and I have noticed the change in my energy. Just make sure you pack your creamy Soups right. For example, I do cream of broccoli, spinach, and watercress. Helps A LOT. Best of luck!

I'm a Paramedic. I was originally going to take 2 weeks off, but I know that my first call would require some weird twisting/lifting/positioning and I didn't want to risk it. Plus I do a lot of lifting and I don't want to go back feeling too weak. 12 hour shifts can be rough!

I think cream soups are considered "thick liquids" per my surgeon. I'm required to get 80-100 ounces of thin liquids plus 90 grams of Protein in for 2-3 days BEFORE moving to thick liquids.

The "what not to eat" list has me nervous. I don't want to make myself sick or do what I'm not supposed to do...

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
