Progress With Valentines Day Sleevers? (2/14)

Recommended Posts

How's my Valentines Day sleevers progress going so far? So far down 27lbs since surgery day. Dropped 2 shirts sizes & went from a size 50waist to a 44waist. Feeling good!

I'm down 20 pounds since the day of surgery. Down from a size 26 to a 22, yay me! What a great Valentine's Day gift to ourselves!

It's so much fun to read about everyone's success stories here. I remember puting on a pair of dress slacks that fit just perfect and within about 5 hours they would be so baggy on me! I remember finding my gold ring on the floor bc it fell off my finger. Now I'm waiting for my smaller gold ring to fall off my finger and it just won't. It goes from really loose to fitting snug by morning wth? Theses are a daily tributes. LOL ;)

My ring finger has gone from a size 7 to a 5 1/2. I'm 37 and my high school class ring is a size 7, LOL. Also, tried on a watch and Bracelet today that used to fit kind of snug and now they hang on my wrist. It's nice to see the success with my own two eyes.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
