Middle March Sleevers

hi

Well its been 2 weeks and I am interested in everyone else that had their surgery in March.

What are you eating/drinking now? are you still losing weight? Do you have any pain during the day while on the move? Oh,and are you back to your normal routine life as it was before surgery? Are you exercising yet?Walking and such.

So,I am now doing mushy, very mushy almost liquid though.deli Turkey or chicken makes a beautiful mousse.I drink huge cups of tea with skim milk about 2 per day. Then the old faithful, the beef rib Soup liquidized and finally the hated Protein powder...it really earks me to have to sacrifice 220 of my precious calories on something as revolting as the Protein drinks...LOL

WEIGHT LOSS have slowed down, still going down point something every day though.I am back to my normal routine and I find it exhausting.I have a pain in my back and abdominal area when I stand or walk but when I sit it is gone.I am not really walking for exercise yet..reacon I walk enough in a day at the moment.

All in all doing well considering I only started losing anything at about day 6 after gaining 7 pounds in hospital and not counting those which I just refused to acknowledge I am now down 17 pounds.

But I do miss eating. And I suppose watching cooking programs dont help much!

Hi! I had my surgery 3/12. I no longer have pain, and my incision sites have pretty much healed. I'm off the pureed food, but am eating mushier foods, such as chili and applesauce. I've noticed a small individual container of natural applesauce is still a bit too much for a meal. Since surgery I've lost 20lbs. Good luck on your progress!
