As of 3/14/2012 it has now been one year since I joined the losers bench. It has been such a joy. I love being able to run a mile without dying over. Shopping in the juniors section again and ordering from ebay without fear of not being able to wear the items.

I've gone from a size 18/20 didn't want to admit it 22. To a size four I even bought a size 1/2 and was able to wear it. I can feel my bone structure in my ribs and it feels weird. The only thing I would change is not exercising regularly. I have alot of loose skin in my inner thighs which is not appealing for bathing suit action.

I have lost a total of 93lbs I went from 230lbs o 137. For those of you on the fence do it.

Here's my before and afters enjoy....

wow you are soooo beautiful. I am having a lapband to sleeve revision on May3. I am getting so excited to be able to post my pictures like yours :)

I am scared though but when I see these kind of pictures the fear kinda goes in the back of my mind and the thought of being thin and healthy takes over. LOL

CONGRATULATIONS

Man I can't wait to be there! I'm a very slow loser and and a year and a half out and am still 40 lbs away from my goal of 128 lbs. You look BEAUTIFUL!!!! Cracks me up though, total proof of vanity sizing - as bad ass as 137 pounds is, there is no WAY it should be a size 2! 130 lbs in high school (mid-late 90's) had me in a size 8! I'm currently 167 lbs and I wriggled into a size 6 pencil skirt, whaaaa?! =P

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
