I Want To See What 125Lbs Looks Like.. Anyone Here That Size/weight?

Recommended Posts

Maybe I should post a photo looking for my body twin. That would be a great post. I'm going to clean though so if anyone wants to start one they can.

125 is awful bony. I have the opposite shape than you but I can tell you a few things about weight and goals.

Our bone structre got more dense (larger) to accomodate our weight as obese people. Looking at a person that has never been obese won't be completely accurate. I am 5'5 and currently 145. I want to be between 139-144 as a maintenance range. I can wear a 6 jean, a 2 dress, and a 4 in 1 Old Navy Jean style..lol

As is I can feel my knee bones when I am trying to sleep, I feel my pelvic bones-i do not feel the ribs yet but I were to drop to 125 I would look like a crackhead.

I am small boned.

You may also find your bone structure is a bit smaller than you think. My wrists are smaller, my ring size got smaller and my feet got smaller.

I think I could get in a 4 once I lose a few more pounds but as I shop now--it is hard finding a lot of size 2's---just something to think about.

It's crazy to me how we can look so different at the same height/weight. I'm 5'5" and when I weighed 140 lbs. I was wearing size 12 pants and medium top. I loved the way I looked and felt. But looking at a lot of those photos they are mostly in size 8 pants at that weight. Oh well. Every "body" is different.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
