Did you click on the save button afterwards? I'm sorry if that didn't help, I think there's a tutorial on here somewhere, you might could search up at the top or maybe someone could point you in the right direction.

Question....where is one place in the world you would like to visit but haven't, and why haven't you???

I would like to visit Hawaii or a tropical Island. The reason I haven't is my weight. Duh! What fun is it to go to a beach when you can't sit in the sand or even fit in a beach chair? Not to mention the rude remarks when I walk around in a swim suit-and that's just from my (soon to be ex) husband!! I have gone on several cruises and never even got off the ship because I weighed to much to enjoy walking around the town or doing any of the "fun" things such as snorkeling or paragliding.

Question:

What is the most embarassing-non weight related-thing that has happened to you?

What is the most embarrassing non-weight related thing that has happened to you?

In HS, a boy was following me down the hall calling me a nasty name because of my birthmark. Without thinking, I turned around and kicked him. He never called me a name again. Over 10 YEARS later, I was standing in a bar and he walked up to my group. The first words out of his mouth were "I won't be calling you (nasty name) tonight!" I kicked him again. He's never spoken to me since. I wonder why?

Question for the next person: How many years of education do you have and are you working at the job you thought you'd have as a kid?

I have my undergrad and masters.....and about to finish year 1 of doctoral study......and yes I always knew I was going to be a teacher, even when I rebelled and majored in Business in undergrad I ended up working in Patient Education in a Cancer Hospital and later chunking that job for a classroom of my own...7 years later I still love being a teacher....the kids are a handful, but I love the creativity and watching kids learn and have fun learning something new!

Question: Same as Lissa's: How many years of education do you have and are you working at the job you thought you'd have as a kid?

I have a BA in journalism and I finished a year of grad school before having my son. I always thought I was going to be a teacher, more specifically, an English Professor. For the past 21 years I've been working with people with developmental disabilities....which is a far cry from journalism or teaching!!

Question: When was the last time you got a coloring book and a box of colors and spent the day having oodles of fun?

I can't remember my first coloring book, but I do remember getting an extremely large chalk board for my 4th or 5th birthday and no chalk. THEY FORGOT THE CHALK!! So when my parents went to take an afternoon nap, I got my crayons and colored all over it. I had fun, but they were not too happy at all.

Question- how has life turned out compared to how you expected when you were young? Better or worse? What is the disappointment or surprise betterment?

my life for sure is 100% better. had i remained at home after 16, i would have turned out to be just a factory worker with no education, probably married to a deadbeat man (I had dropped out of school already with parental ok) my family life was a disaster (violence) but thank god i met the love of my life during this time who totally INSISTED i return to school. he paid for it and with his help, i put myself through GED and past, then through a clerk typist course (remember those jobs?) worked at that for a while (17 years) then became a CNA (4 years), during that time started taking pre-req's at the university (on probabation of course until I pasted with a C+) for nursing, then nursing school, then MSN, and here i am, married to the same wonderful man for the past 34 years, wouldn't change anything with him. . have 2 kids born on the same day 10 years apart! Try that! am a 1st time granny, and am living a good life right now!

Question to the next poster: Tell us about yourself?

I will turn the age that rhymes with "nifty" in June. I homeschool our 11 year old Aspie which is not what I thought I'd be doing, but it's all good. I moved out from my parents' house at 16 and went wild, then went back to school and became an opera singer. Did that for several years and married my sweetie who joined the Navy when he was 30. We've been married 21 yrs. We have lived in London, San Fransisco bay area, Maryland and Virginia before returning to Texas when hubby got out of the service. After opera life (which allowed me to travel a lot), I went into Marketing and worked full time til my son was born. I then had my own small business teaching music and movement to pre-schoolers for several years but got burned out, especially physically. Now, we have a crazy bloodhound named Murray. Our parents require a lot of help these days and it is a priviledge to help them where we can. My son and I do tons of field trips and outings. We also love movies, bicycling and swimming. I have yo-yo'd weight wise all my life and it has taken its toll in more ways than one. I was sleeved 10-17-11 and have lost 62 lbs including the 10 dropped pre-op. I love, love, love the support on VST and check in almost every day. My restrictiin has recently decreased and appetite has increased but I am trying to undereat my sleeve. Some dsays are better than others, as we all know.

My question for next poster is: if you could shrink to only two inches tall for 24 hours and could "fit" anywhere, where would you go and why?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
