March Roll Call!

So I am having my surgery on March 15th with Dr. Kelly in Tijuana, MX. I would love to make friends with some fellow March 2012 sleevers to share the journey....

Great to hear chacha!! I haven't heard from her. I hope she is doing ok.

I'm doing well, trying to get all of my water and protein in. Its a struggle.

I'm sure I'll have the same issue. I just keep hearing "baby sips - baby sips" in my head

I'm in my second week and the capacity for liquids is much better. I do find myself taking too large of sips because I forget but my Guardian angel (my sleeve) lets me know very quickly. My culprit is getting caught up in my work and forgetting to drink.

But I know you're going to do great!!

Hi everyone:

First day post-op, seem to be doing pretty well. Not a lot of pain, the gas I could live without although it is getting better. Leak test and to the hotel tomorrow for two days before going home Monday.

Very happy to be on this side of surgery for sure, time to get A new ticker to count down pounds lost, yay!

Wow time is flying! Thanks for the update and wishing you a happy recovery!

Hello everyone. Just had sleeve done on 3/14/12. I am home and feeling really good. Just a little bit of discomfort at the incision sites. My only complaint is that I seem to gurgle everytime I swallow something! Anyone else had this, and is there anything I can do?

Congrats desert19! Glad to hear you're doing well. Keep us posted!!

I am getting sleeved March 20...less than 48 hours away!!!! I'm so excited and I wish everyone the best on their surgery dates.

Checking in! My surgery will be March 20 in Sebastian' date=' FL with Dr. Domkowski.[/quote']

Hello, I am from Sebastian, too! I went to Dr Velarde in Viera due to insurance reasons, but just wanted to tell you that Dr domkowski is great :) he is my moms dr, and loves him! Good luck with your surgery! ( she also works at sebastian hospital and takes care of his patients)

March 8th by Dr Velarde in Viera, Fl :) On my full liquid diet till the 28th!

Hey guys I had surgery in 3/13 still on clear liquids. When did any of you guys begin eating more thick liquids like yogurt or even retried beans?

Welcome ABetterMe! How are you doing?
