So I am having my surgery on March 15th with Dr. Kelly in Tijuana, MX. I would love to make friends with some fellow March 2012 sleevers to share the journey....

I can't wait for all of you who's dates are coming up to join me on the loser's bench!! I've been waking up lately full of something, I didn't know what it was. Then it hit me. I'm happy. For the first time in a long time my happiness is radiating from the inside out instead of me trying to force it from the outside in. This is such a great feeling! I hope each one of you feels the same way

Not long now!! 3/22 is just around the corner!

1st day post-op and feeling pretty darn great!! I'm a little nauseous when getting liquid lortab down but it passes. I'm walking every couple hours and started sipping water last night. Just had my first Popsicle and it was so good.

Don't really know how to use my phone for posts....ooops .

I am POD 3. Drain came out today. Surgery was on the 12th. Was released around 2:30. Came home, that night huge snowstorm. No power, no water. No computer. I'm a little sore but doing well. Hopefully power back in by weekend

Finished my sleep study (no sleeping issues - yayyyyy!). Also did my pre-op bloodwork. Now it's just focusing on the liquids until next Thursday! Just one week away!!!

I'm doing well, trying to get all of my water and protein in. Its a struggle.
