Sweet Potatoes?

Sweet potatoes are OK, right?

I know we're not really supposed to have white potatoes, white bread or other similar starches, but what about yams?

Sweet potatoes are lower glycemic index than white potatoes... but eat in moderation, still lots of carbs.

Thanks! I took two bites and had to stop eating them. I'm still figuring out what I can and can't eat.

Sweet potatoes or yams are great during the mushie phase. We can't consume very many calories in the beginning anyway so the few bites you can get in at that time are a pretty yummy treat.
