This thread is what I did tonight. Yes, I live an exciting fun filled life (AND it's Saturday lol).

I feel like I just read a novel. Filled with sadness and despair and hope and ultimately triumph! I cried as you suffered but also as I felt the pain of everyone pulling for you.

I'm so glad to see the happy ending.

Hopefully that was all the pain you will suffer in your life.

Done, finito, nada mas pain!! I don't even know you but--- XOXOX!!!!

I just did the same thing, It's also Saturday night and almost exactly a year later. I also wanted to hand that you handled the trial admirably. Of course you got upset and depressed, but it didn't beat you. Congratulations on your success and I wish you the best of life now and in the future.

UPDATE!

hey guys! its been a while.

i look back at my journey & sometimes it can seem like such a distant memory but other times, it seems like just yesterday, i was begging god to save me.

the title of this post is "i definitely regret surgery.... so far" but to be honest, i no longer regret it. surgery has given me such a beaaaaautiful gift.

im now 22wks pregnant with my baby girl.

had i not had this surgery, i wouldve never been blessed with such a miracle.

this surgery nearly took my life but it has also given me life & now im giving my baby girl life. :D

Congrats! I missed the baby post earlier. Looking forward to seeing pics of your beautiful baby girl in a few months! I think there is a group for pregnant sleevers under the support section.

Wow, I should have been working but from the beginning, your story was intriguing. Unfortunately, a story to me was real life to you. What a journey to live and what a story to tell. I mean seriously, I would have read this in book format all the way to the baby details...and for someone like me who has been trying for over 15 years, your story was filled with trials and tribulations but mostly triumph and victory and I needed to read it!! Thanks for sharing...

Amazing!!!! Oh and congrats on your success and your bundle of joy!!

I know this post is old, and I'm very glad everything is ok. Congratulations on the baby/toddler, now!

I hope my question doesn't come off rude or harsh, and please correct me if I'm way off base. Isn't it possible that the OP abused her sleeve by alternating Water and food, nearly chugging Water, fried cheese, concession stand corn chip and artificial cheese food? The statement is that the surgery was almost a regret, but why wasn't the behavior regretted?

Is it usually ok to have slip ups or be caught in a jam and not be able to eat the perfect diet and have nothing go wrong? Or is the sleeve really very sensitive and slip ups equal complications? I just know I'm going to feel the need to drink lots of water at some point, but I'm nervous now that I risk causing a leak. I'm sort of worried I won't have the willpower to not do things I shouldn't.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
