My surg date is Dec 5. I feel a cold coming and I have been blasting myself with Zycam. Can I still have my surg if I have a head cold? No real symptoms yet other than the "tickle" in my throat. I really hope I catch this bug in time. :banghead:

hi, i am not sure, but if you're going to have surgery they would prefer you not being sick, in case of any complications that may occur. On the bright side you have a few days to get rid of this "potential" cold. You're doing the right thing with trying to nip it in the bud w/meds and taking care of yourself. Speak to the dr. in a couple of days w/a report of how your are feeling. Its a bummer for this to happen now, but you must tell your dr. Wishing you good health - with a great sleeve 2 come. Kathy
