hi kim

First off you're not going nuts, I still think about my sleeve so much during the day. So very anxious. Its perfectly normal. It seems like I've been waiting for the big day forever - Its finally almost here :tongue2: My DOS is 12/6/11.

There is so I'm still trying to learn about after the surgery, thats what i am obsessed about. I know i have to drink shakes for Protein, but i hear that many can't keep that down and H20 is preferable at 1rst. So many other questions with reference to eating. So as you can see, i'm obsessed by the sleeve too, and i'm not nuts...well maybe alitte. kathy :seeya:

This is a major life change. Of course you're obsessed with it. Didn't you obsess over having your first child? Yes, you did. You probably read everything you could find, worried about having the perfect nursery, and tried to insure you'd be the best parent who ever lived! :) We all do it and it's normal.

I suggest you read the thread about what to take to the hospital and that you explore the forums about other specific questions you have. The answers ARE here and, if you can't find them, lots of us are ready and willing to answer questions, too.

Good luck to both of you!! :)

Girl, I feel the same way. It is all I can think about. I was scheduled for 12/6 but the insurance still has not got my approval through, so I lost my date. It has been moved to 2/14/12. That just gives me that many more weeks to obsess and to drive my family nuts. But this is a really big deal to me. I feel like it is my new lease on life and that I am being given a second chance to do things I never had the opportunity to do before because of my health and weight. I am VERY excited to say the least.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
