I lost 2.4lbs this week which I am grateful. I did not lose last week due to no excercise cuz of a ankle injury. I also got no excercise this week cuz I fell down and injured the other ankle, put a deep bone bruise on my tail bone and 2 goose eggs on the back of my skull! :o Needless to say I have not felt very good this week. Oh and my laptop has been down! I have a temporary fix for the weekend but it will be back down for a few days next week.dry.gif

I will get to see my doc on Tuesday for the first time since surgery. Still having issues with upset stomach and intestines. Hopefully he can offer some help. It has been a really rough week...but I will take the weight loss anytime!;)

I'm here! 2.8 loss for me this week. Still lots of gassy tummy pains and feeling super full. Waiting for it all to get better. Keep passing the times people said it got better for them.

I dont get it. I have been really upset this week. Has this happened to anyone? Hw did it stop? How did the scale start moving down? I cant believe I am up 2 lbs. Its like my body likes being this weight and doesnt want to lose the weight! What do I do?

I am down 1.6 lbs this week. Slow but steady. I'll take it! Emmas Mom, don't worry, it will start coming off again soon. We all plateau and that's what this is. You fluctuate around a pound or two up and down around a certain weight. Try just weighing yourself once a week, it's less frustrating.....and one of these weeks you'll have a pleasant surprise. Good luck to you!

I am down 2.0 pounds this week. My weight is now 236.0. I think I'm losing kind of slow compared to others. Some people hit goal weight at 7 months. I'm not sure that's going to happen. I'm losing an average of 2-3 pounds per week. Now I'm worried I'm not going to hit my goal. Hmmm. Not sure what I should do because I don't seem to do well on less than 1000 calories per day. Maybe increasing my exercise is what I need. I'm happy with my weight loss so far, but I'm afraid that as it slows down, I won't get to goal. Anyone else feel this way??

I had a 2.2 lb loss this week for a total loss of 33 lbs including pre-op. Things are going pretty well. I haven't done too much exercising - just one day at the gym this week with cardio and weights so that is my priority for next week. I do feel great when I actually do something! All of my clothes are too big right now but thankfully I have a few things left over from my thinner days that are OK for now.

I am down 2.5 pounds this week, I am praying and working towards a 20lb loss for the month of October.

I have an adorable halloween costume for a party onthe 28th, and it does NOT button. Almost.......but clearly I need to lose 15-20 lbs to make it look decent.

This week has been frustrating. I've gotten down to 215, which is a 2.5 pound loss, but it also goes up to 217 and then 216 and then 217 and then 215. It just keeps bouncing around. I figure I am in my first stall.

I think part of the problem is that some carbs have snuck into my diet, and it seems like I see the gain the day after eating too many. I am trying to get "real food" into my diet, and this is where I am getting the carbs too. I'll figure it out.

I hope I see a weight loss before next Thursday. As of tomorrow, it will have been 8 weeks since my surgery, and I've lost about 40 pounds. I'm not complaining, but I hope to get to onderland before Halloween.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
