Creamed spinach stuffed tomatoes are on my menu tonight, 3weeks out, am I pushing it?

1 thick slice almost ripe Tomato

creamed spinach:

easy way -

one can of condensed mushroom Soup

1/2 or whole carton frozen chopped spinach thawed and thoroughly patted dry

tspn garlic powder

1/3 cup diced sautéd onions

1/2 cup sautéd or canned chopped mushrooms

1/3 cup parmesan grated cheese

mix all ingredients in a saucepan over medium low heat until cheese melts, allow to cool, mixture should be the texture os soft mashed potatoes. Oil a cookie sheet or casserole dish. lay tomato slices 2" apart and mound creamed spinach. sprinkle with small amount of a mixture of parmesan mixed with seasoned bread crumbs. Bake 15 to 20 min at 350 or until top begins to brown.

Hard way-

start with bachmel sauce (3tblspoon each of flour, milk, butter heated and mixed over low heat) use 2 freshly minced cloves garlic. Use fresh baby spinach, found in a bag in the salad section and it's prewashed! cook the spinach 1/2 way or more in a saucepan with 1" of wate. Pat dry.follow above recipe.

Bon Appetite.

As long as the spinach is very well cooked there is not a problem.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
