  3. Yesterday I craved a filet o fish so bad so I went and got one sans bun. It didn't go down very well though and I felt sick. I think I'll get some plain fish at the store to fix, maybe dip it in some parmesan before cooking.
  4. That's exactly my problem!!! I threw up a scrambled egg but PB cups go right down just fine. Not good! Today I cut up a pear and had few slices with some cheddar cheese. Thankfully that sat well with the sleeve. Does anyone else have no appetite in the morning? I can't stomach anything until about 11 am and then I eat a little bit every couple hours until about 5 or 6. Then I'm done for the day. Very weird!
  5. My problem is I'm just 2 wks. out so protein still hurts going down but crappy foods like PB cups go down great.
  6. What a blessing to have had 11 babies, congrats on that alone! I have 5 and they are a treasure. I havn't tried Zumba yet but I think I am going to test out the weekly class at our library to see if I like it. It looks fun!
  7. That sounds really good. Too bad I already went shopping for the week.
  8. Sorry, I'm no help. I'm already eating mushies.
  9. Please try to relax and do what you know is best for you. When I told my mom, I also told her I wasn't asking her permission. I knew she would freak out, especially about going to Mexico. I also had the added stress of my husband freaking out too. But they finally both came around and here I am 11 days post op and 13 lbs down so far. I am very happy I did what I knew I needed to do, even though I'm in the toughest part of it right now! Hang in there! (((hugs)))
  10. I'm so sorry. Hopefully she will come around after surgery. Have you told her straight up that her behavior is causing you to have serious doubts about your marriage?
  11. I've been experimenting with mushies since 5 days post op. The liquid diet was not cutting it so I moved on. My drs. plan involves 10 days of clear and then 10 days of full liquids before mushies! I just couldn't wait that long.
  12. OK, you have sufficiently freaked me out!!! I am praying this will work for me but all I can think about is how I sabotage every diet I've been on. Oh dear.
  13. Try NuNaturals stevia. It has no chemicals, all natural, and not bitter like other stevia. I use the liquid vanilla stevia as well as their powdered stevia.
  14. Hi, I think I was there the same time as you. I was sleeved by Aceves on the 10th. Great experience, although I don't remember too much of it because of the meds. They put us at the Crowne Plaza the night before surgery though. I wonder why you were in a different hotel? Best wishes on your journey! If you are who I remember you didn't look like you had much to lose. I thought you might have been a lapband revision to sleeve. I am down 10 lbs so far one week out!
  15. How in the world can we binge with the sleeve? Does it really stretch that much to accommodate a binge?
  16. Hey there, I had my VSG on the 10th w/ Aceves. I'm sure I met you but my time there is kind of a medicated haze. LOL
  17. That really stinks! Dr. Aceves and Dr. Campos were in my room multiple times a day checking on me.
