Halloween (Oct. 31) - What will you Weigh?

Recommended Posts

I'm a little late to jump on the bandwagon here, but I want to join!!! ^_^

I hope that 20 lbs is doable in 7 weeks. Even to get into the 180s would make me happy!

UPDATE

SW------CW--------GOAL---------Pounds to goal

229----227----------210-----------------17

I'm a day early with this update, but that's okay. I need to be on a 3-pounds-per-week trajectory to meet my goal, and I think I can do that! It's a lot easier to lose when I'm in school teaching--when I'm working, I'm up, moving around, walking around campus, etc. Need to keep up with my Water, so that's my mini-goal this week.

Good luck everyone!!

Update: I'm trying to increase my cardio work outs which seems to really make a difference. Just trying to find time to fit everything in in a day can be a challenge. I can do this though.

I'm in!!! I missed my Labor Day goal by 9lbs, but I still lost 26lbs during the challenge. My goal for Halloween is a little less drastic but I am going to get this one. My ultimate goal (Christmas gift to me) is to be in onderland by Dec 24th! I have 37lbs to lose to get there so I will take the first 20 as my Halloween goal!

And I will hope for more!!! Maybe I can be in onderland by Halloween, wouldn't that be SWEET!

Many people do post weekly, but it's up to you.

I think most people find that by posting weekly, it kind of helps hold them accountable by having to post their results. This way if they are struggling, they can post that and perhaps get some support/ feedback on how to get back on track.

Are we supposed to post weekly what our weight is? I weigh weekly.

Don't want to hog everything!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
