Vegas during Pre-Op Liquid Diet????

I'm self pay and because of some major changes in my work schedule, I'm able to bump my surgery up sooner (was originally planning for the start of August but am now looking at mid July). My only problem is that I'm supposed to go to Las Vegas (Lost Wages) with my family during the start of the clear liquid diet right before surgery. Do you think that this is possible? I'm not a Vegas-buffet person but I'm worried restaurants there aren't going to have much in the way of Clear liquids that I can eat. What do you think? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Yikes! I can't even imagine going to Vegas during pre- op diet but I know it will be possible, you will just have to restrain yourself and remember why you are doing this. Shopping, sight-seeing and shows and whatnot should distract you though. What does your liquid diet consist of? Mines was 5 slim fast shakes a day and 1 meal for dinner that was a piece of meat and 1 cup of veggies. If you have protein shakes I would say pack it all and take it with you. I hope this helps, I know you can do it!
