I'm thinking of joining this gym. I hate working out but this gym looks like something I could deal with. Has anyone experienced it or have opinions? Thanks!

I don't know about this gym.. I belong to a rock climbing gym that also holds lots of classes and has weights and such. Its just so nice, and interesting to watch others climbing and tightrope walking and stuff. I mostly just take the classes. There are several in the SF Bay area and surrounds...

I haven't any experience with therm but the bottom line is where you like and feel most comfortable at. I think everyone has a routine you just need to find yours.

This is the gym my sister and I belong to. It is AWESOME!!! The staff is great, they have good classes for just about everything, basketball court, child care plus a rock climbing wall [i'm going to talk her into climbing that way if it's the last thing I do!!;) ;) ] I suggest you go by there and do a tour I promise you will love it!!! Take care!!

Lifetime Fitness is amazing! They have a ton of classes including my favorite...kickboxing! Not sure if you have kids but the kids club and pool areas are incredible. The owners have owned and operating fitness clubs since the early 80's and they have it down. All the equipment you can ask for and a beautiful locker room. At least.. that is the one in Scottsdale, AZ. Have been to some in MN not quite so plush but the gym is still a really good one especially for families.

I've been a Lifetime member for a few years now and I can't say anything negative at all- I'm pretty thrilled with them. I have to say that my location at least feels more like a country club than a gym. The salon gives GREAT and affordable massages. The cafe has tasty and nutritional food. The pools are just awesome. The best part, in my opinion, is that even though my gym is in a "posh" part of town the people who go there are very normal. No gym bunnies in sight- thank goodness! They drive me nuts. :)

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
