i'M CONSIDERING THE SLEEVE

I'M 30YRS OLD AND VERY CONCERNED WITH MY WEIGHT AND MOST OF ALL MY HEALTH. I'M SUFFERING WITH HBP PROBLEMS, SLEEP APNEA AND A SIGNS OF DIABETES. MANY OF THESE SYMPTOMS ARE INHERITED FROM FAMILY. I HAVE BEEN CONVINCED INTO STARTING THE PROCESS OF THE BARIATRIC SLEEVE. OF COURSE I HAVE MANY CONCERNS. I'M NOT SCARED BUT WHAT IS THE OUTCOME , WILL I HAVE THE SAME OR SIMILAR AFFECTS AND WHAT IS THE VERY WORSE SCENARIO. A LITTLE HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Hi miss locke, you have come to the right place for help!! :D

Losing weight will help you with your health problems. Since you are pre-diabetic I can't think of a better time to do this. You would like to try to avoid getting full blown diabetes if you can. Do not hesitate!

I used to have bad HBP, and at 5 months out I was allowed to discontinue all of my medications that controlled it. Believe me, my case was really tough too. I used to need 4 max dosage pills per day (2 different types of meds and 2x per day) to control it. It never wanted to go down.

However today, I'm healthier than I ever have been in my whole life! Even as a teen I was thin and athletic, but because I stayed thin in unhealthy ways it kept me from feeling as great as I do right now.

As far as the outcome, everyone's journey is their own. Do your best to not compare your results to others. You will likely be disappointed. Cherish your losses and be appreciative that you will lose and ultimately gain your health back.

Cheers!!

I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR INPUT IN MY SITUATION AND HOPE TO PROCEED WITH THIS AND BECOME THE HEALTHY WOMEN THAT I SHOULD BE. IS THERE ANY MEANS FOR HELP IN PAYING FOR THE PROCEDURE? NO, I DON'T HAVE INSURANCE AND I'M LOOKING AT PAYING FOR THIS OUT OF POCKET.
