Whoohooo!! I never doubted ya. ;) And you know, it would take an act of congress for me to change mine. I'd have to stay at the higher weight for a month at least.

LOL - I was starting to feel guilty about it ... but you noticed, not guilty enough to change it! :P

Hi Mini Me!

I'm pretty new here and would love to hear what your "normal" routine is. You have done so well! I am looking for inspirations like you!

Thanks so much and keep up the good work!

Barb

I definitely depend on my "across the pond friends". You guys are inspiration to me as well.

Back on track the last two days ... scales showed 128.4 today. Will closely watch until scale back to 125 and then try my "normal routine" again minus the glutony of treats.

You guys rock!

Way to go, Mini!!! Whoo-hoo! I really have to commend you for being proactive with your maintenance. That is the most important thing, to monitor your weight closely and get on it as soon as you get out of your comfort zone instead of waiting. This is the part I have always been bad at so I truly admire the people who stay on top of their weight and nip it in the bud before it gets out of control.

That is so awesome...you've come too far and worked way too hard...keep up the great work!!!

A typical day for me on maintenance is:

Around 7am:

2-3 Light String cheese

Around 9am:

oatmeal with raisins

OR

2 Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausages & 1/2 Thomas Thin Bagel

Lunch:

3 to 4 ounces of meat (usually left over from night before)

fruit Cup (Del Monte Sugar Free)

Cucumber slices or carrots (usually 4 or 5 minis)

Snack:

Mini popcorn bag

OR

Pepperoni Beef Stick

OR

nothing (depends on if I am hungry or not)

Dinner:

3 to 4 ounces of meat

small spoon of side dishes for family (mashed potatoes, veggies, mac-n-cheese, stuffing, etc)

Evening Snack:

6-8 ounces of white wine (yes - this is my "hidden" pleasure)

Choice of 1: 5-10 M&M's, few pretzels, a string cheese, etc

Of course, I fit in liquids throughout the day. Except for the occasional increase (like above), I've been maintaining at 125 - 128 since right after Thanksgiving. I've never maintained that long before - I can't believe how this sleeve tool has changed my life.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
