If you are feeling tired...

I had been having issues with being very tired for the past few weeks. Come to find out, I was low on iron-(anemic). This was due to me taking children's chewable vitamins that didn't have the correct amount of iron (actaully the one I grabbed at the store had none :o ). I had bought a bottle because I couldn't swallow those big vitamins post- op. I didn't even check the label for the ingredients since I knew I would only take them temporarily. (Plus I was at the store three days post-op and I was a little out of it). Now, that I am on a multi-vitamin with iron, I feel great! I have energy to work out. I just thought I would share, especially for newbies. This is usually just a problem the first couple of months after surgery since you can't eat very much. I am just so glad to have the issue resolved and I hope I can prevent anyone else from going through this!

I am very tired and I'm 3 weeks out but my children's vitamins do have iron in them. I am taking 2 a day. I have no energy I have to make myself get up and go for a walk. Any other suggestions?
