Oh man, the time has finally come! I'm heading to the hospital in seven hours..and should be sleeved in 12...

Good luck to everyone else tomorrow!

Any ideas on how many lbs I should be losing weekly? And....do you think it would be possible for me to get to goal by summer? I'm 217 now...would love to be around 120...yeesh that's a lot of weight...

Best of luck today I had my surgery on Tuesday and let's just say the past few days have been pretty rough. I am off to a whole new me so every pain is worth it. Talk to you once you make it through.

Your weight history and weight today for surgery 217 same as mine. I had surgery on Jan 6th and am down to 207. That's 10 pounds in 2 weeks exactly. We are lightweights and may lose a little slower than some. Compare yourself to no one. This is a marathon not a race - your body will dictate weight loss and changes.

Follow your Dr's orders and diet and you will succeed! Sending my best wishes and prayers your way this week. Have a wonderful journey, save surgery, healthy and uneventful recovery!

Hugs

Kim

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
