IRRITATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Recommended Posts

I have a brand new netbook, a fast internet speed ... no problems with other websites ... except Vertical Sleeve Talk.

It's very irritating to try to read and/or answer someone's post. Load times for pages can take around a minute.

When you finally do get to a thread, you have to jump through hoops to get back to the most recent topics (there doesn't seem to be enough room for the link at the top due to all the advertisements)!

I totally understand the need for advertisements to finance the site ... however, when there are so many pictures and movement that it detracts from the purpose of the site - communication and information about surgery - there is a problem.

All this is being said to let you know that I am not avoiding you or ignoring the questions . I've been trying to read and keep up, but I simply do not have hours a day to wait on the pages to update. Is there something that can be done to find a happy medium???

You might want to check with your internet service provider. During peak times ISP's slow down access (in other words they do not give priority) to news groups. This website is considered a news group that could be part of the problem.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
