And the best part........................... My BMI is 24.9!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am FINALLY at a NORMAL weight for my height!!!!!! Feels so great!

I went to my company Xmas party last night and wore a beautiful red evening gown, size 4, oh yeah baby! Picture is posted below, sorry about the quality...

Congratulations! It's really great that you did not say the heck with it . I get so frustrated when I am not losing that I feel like I may as well eat, I am not losing anyway!

You look beautiful!

Thank you everyone! To tell you the truth, I just stopped beating myself up about it. I stopped stressing about it. Since food and weight no longer truly consumes my life, I let it go. I exercise when I can, I eat as good as I can but also do not deprive myself. I have focussed more on my kids these days and I am sure that really helped get my mind off of my stall. I screamed when I got on the scale and it was below 130, the kids laughed at me!

My honey is taking me to Cancun in late January and I want so bad to look great! So that is some new motivation to get in the gym and work my flabby legs and arms!!!

BTW, where in the heck do you buy a bikini in January? ;-)

Well girlie, you already DO look great -- so pretty and happy!! You can probably find some bikini's online, other than that I have no idea... it's freezing everywhere in the States it seems like!!

Have a great trip!!!

Angie,

I haven't been on this site since I was denied by BC/BS of Ohio. It's been great to follow your progress, it enforces the hope I have to one day be a healthier happier me. You looked awesome in that little red dress!!

If little tiny gals like you and Tiffykins can lose the weight, it gives us gals sho are 5'5" or more alot of hope that we can too! BC/BS is now covering the sleeve in Ohio, so I'm waiting and hoping to hear something this week.............!

Congratulations, you look GREAT!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
