OK, so I went to bed at 1, was out cold, and then woke up shortly after 5 not feeling very good. I can't describe it - just kind of out of it, like my whole body felt really heavy or something. I decided to go with the usual suspects, so I dragged myself out of bed (with effort) and sipped on some Water and juice in case I was either dehydrated or somehow had low blood sugar (although I had a few sips of juice right before bed). I went to the washroom and peed a fair bit, so serious dehydration doesn't really seem like the main culprit anymore. Now I have a mild stomachache and it feels a bit painful/uncomfortable when I press on where my stomach used to be (right below the sternum). I didn't feel a stomachache when I first woke up, before drinking. Then again, I haven't pressed there before, so maybe it's normal post-op? I measured my temp and it's normal. I also have some pain in my back - travelling between midback and lower back.

I've been 100% compliant with my diet and didn't exert myself yesterday. Went and watched a movie with friends, but the chair was very comfortable so I don't feel like that triggered my back pain.

What should I do? I can feel a fair bit of gas rumbling in my tummy, so I was thinking of taking a Gas-X, and then maybe following it up with a Nexium in case I'm overproducing acid and it's making my tummy sore. Please tell me it's not the :bored0:L-word:bored0:.

Yeah, I meant "leak," sorry, haha.

I'm feeling a lot better after the Gas-X, Nexium, and copious (well, as copious as it can get after the sleeve) amounts of juice and ice cubes, but there's still a bit of discomfort. The only thing I can think of is milk intolerance? I just started having milk with my Protein shakes, this has been the only change in my diet. I was also supposed to start having cream Soups, but now I'm not exactly in the mood to introduce new foods...:001_tt2:

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
