Hi sleeve sister! I love this tool also. It does feel so great knowing it's gone forever. I went shopping last night and bought 14 jeans!! That's 4 sizes down .:thumbup1:

That is so great down 4 sizes. I haven't bought new pant yet I had smaller pants that I can know get into.but I only have 3-4 pairs that I can wear right now, I also have several pair that it may be another month befoer I can wear them. I was able to buy 2 shirt at JCPenney's this week, first time in 20 years I have been able to do that, usually Walmart or the big ladies store have been the only place I could find things that fit.

I remember those days, but it really does go by fast. Before you know it you will be 50lbs down. Hang in there and be patient because it will happen. :biggrin0:

Barbara, I'm in Colorado too!! We should just get together :) I've been talking to another woman who also lives in Monument! I am up in Northglenn.

Anyhooo... if you REALLY want to give them away I would take them!! hehe! Of course it will be quite a while until they fit me (I'm a size 26 right now). I am fairly short too, 5'5", so they might work for me but would have to try them on to know, so I gotta be that size to try them on lol. But I don't want to buy too many clothes as I'm on my way down so I will take you up on it if you really don't mind. :)

I think we should totally start a clothing trade on this board... to be able to send bigger things to people who need them... and then when that person is done with it they pass it on to another, wouldn't that be cool? Maybe I'll post a thread about it:thumbup1:

Absolutely. I wish I had known you would want them before today. I just brought 15 pairs of jeans from size 22 to 18 to the good will this weekend. :) I'll start saving them as I'm going down and we can meet one day. I go up to Littleton quite often.

😫 Hi, I’m new to bariatricpal! I am 8 days post op VSG. I am struggling very badly. I’ve been so emotional because I feel like I’m doing wrong. I’m afraid I’ll eat or drink to fast or eat the wrong thing. I’ve been on Pinterest and YouTube constantly for help. I have followed all of my surgeons and dieticians instructions. I just don’t know if my body is getting enough. Today, I am weak, sore, and just exhausted.

It passes!! Everyone goes though it! It is a short term emotion! I'm almost five years post op! You made the right decision! Don't focus on the change right now. Try to entertain your mind. What your feeling only last about a week. It's related to your body adjusting and you mind adjusting. You got this!!

I agree with Tara it's hard right now but it gets better do t forget your hormones will be all over the place you may even feel depressed. Be kind to yourself reach out and talk to people how you are feeling .
