dear all, I am 20 days out of surgery now. I lost 26.5 Lbs so far but the scale is not moving since one week now. actually it is 2 pounds up today.

I started pureed food but very little. yesterday at dinner I wanted to have yoghurt. I hardly took 3 small spoons only then my stomach aches started. do I have to go back to my liquid diet? I am indesperate need of losing 22 more pounds to start looking acceptable. I am in a hurry I know but when I think that I am not eating bread, Pasta, rice, Cookies, cakes, ice cream, biscuits, crackers any more, then why I am not losing???

someone mentioned something about week 3 stall, How long does it last usually? thx all.

What you are experiencing is not at all unusual. Very often, once we move from full liquids to the next stage you will notice that you stop showing a loss on the scale. It is okay, your body is going through some major changes right now. It will adjust and soon you will once again start seeing the results on the scale. In the meantime, make sure you are also taking your measurements. While you may not necessarily see the numbers going down on the scale, you may still be losing inches.

Don't let yourself get discouraged. I promise, the scale will start moving again.

Oh sweetie, you are in such a hurry. I am the impatient type also. But, it does not work that way. Think of the sleeve as a turtle or snail. they go slowly along their way and get there in the end. It is the end results that matter. You have been successful so far and will continue. Do not worry about this 3 week stall. Keep on your program and walk. You will be getting a new outfit or two for Christmas for sure. Keep the faith, slow down your expectations, and get outside and enjoy life. Do not wait to be a certian size to enjoy yourself. Every moment counts.

I go back to eating Soups whenever I eat something that my tum does not like. I will re-introduce that food again in a month or so. Soups and Protein drinks have been my fall back position since surgery. Do not worry about what yur Tum does not like now, it will again later.

Aren't you just amazed at how little you are eating? Ya gotta know in your head that you will be loosing weight with the reduced intake. The scale will catch up. Honest.

We all experience this, and worrying about it never seems to help. So put away the scales for a week, and enjoy life! I'm almost two months since surgery and have already had several stalls...that's what I do and it seems to make life more enjoyable. As long as you are eating what the program suggests, the weight will come off eventually.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
