That is excellent Leo. Donali....thanks for that post (eating box of pizza) I know exactly what you are saying. Not that I still don't want the pizza, but, my body won't let me even eat one piece with out getting the crust stuck

Not too big wow, 17 pounds in less than 10 days??? I am so jealous. It took me 2 months to lose that. Congrats. (I know, I know, everyone is different)

My mini goal was 235, what I was when my husband fell in love at first sight with me. Man was he blind ha ha Next goal 219 or Misses size 18 whichever comes first. I am tired of the plus sizes. I have gone from a 24w to a 18w so, I can't complain too much

Fantastic Leo! You look wonderful! Reading your posts and Donali and Alexandra really reinforce my decision to be banded. I think this is a wonderful tool because it encourages slower and more healthful weight-loss and it stops the rollarcoaster ride of dieting. I think my heart would just literally break if I went on one more "diet" and worked my bunzzz off to lose a large amount of weight... only to GAIN it all back PLUS more! Seeing that the band has stopped that down and up cycle really makes it difficult to wait for banding.

I'm off to peek at your website;)

Yes, Health was a major reason for me also. Dieting and taking diet drugs is not a permanent solution and is harmfull for your health. My doctor told me I had a liver problem. Elevated something, I forgot the term. I wasn't allowed to take any medicine without getting permission from my doctor.

But now everything is back to normal, in perfect health ;)

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
