Diet and expectations

So I just got my lap band on April 26. Tomorrow is my first fill. What should I expect? Does it hurt? Also I need good recipe ideas. Does anyone have any suggestions and recipes for easy meals?

The fills do not hurt. They may even numb the area before they do it. I had a bit of anxiety for nothing. It really is easy peasy.

Its just a pinch if you have someone who is skilled in giving fills. No worries. I just make my usual stuff (I was never a bad eater just ate a lot and grazed) so I can't help with the recipes.

There is a recipe forum on LBT. There are a lot of really good low carb recipes.
