Suggestions for a Lapsed Bander?

Hello all.

I'm new to this site and hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I had my lap band surgery in 2005. I had great success... Followed program, participated in groups, lost 60 pounds. Fell in love. Got married. Husband was (and is) very supportive of my weight loss and understands the restrictions of the lap band.

Fast forward to 2009. Something changed. My company relocated us. I lost touch with my support group and doctor. Stopped following program. Not surprisingly, I started gaining weight. As of today, I have regained 30 pounds.

I've finally found a local doctor willing to accept me as a patient. Band is fine and was adjusted this past Friday with additional Fluid.

I feel like I'm being given a second chance with my band and am excited to get back on track.

There seem to be a lot of forums on this site, so I'm wondering if there is one for a prodigal Bander like me?

Thanks for your help.

I have been banded for 4 years. I have no excuse but I did not stick with it. Forward to now. In October I got my a small fill, got my doctor's guidelines got back on track measuring and tracking my foods. About two weeks later I took my tracked days and saw a nutritionist who works with my band doctor. I also drink lots of water. I have done really well and I am 95.2 lbs down. You just have to really want this and make sure you eat like you are supposed to and stay in touch with your doctor. I wish you best of luck. You can do it!
