Banded 10/11/12 and feeling great! So far I'm down 68 lbs with 2 very small fills. No stuck or PB episodes yet and trying my best to keep it that way! Need to get my butt back in the gym ASAP because I fell off that wagon, but continuing to eat properly has kept the weight loss steady.

Hey Y'all :)

I was banded 10/28/2012. I am down 63lbs. Everything is going awesome! I have become quiet the gym rat and actually enjoy working my butt off(literally) I have lost literally 19 inches in my waist. It seems surreal.

My next mini goal is 75lbs down so I have 12 to go! Hope all is well with everyone!

I am devistated. Ii was banded in Oct and have only lost 26 lbs and only 10 of which since Dec 1st when I got my last fill. I have 4cc now. I have tried so hard, watch everything I eat. Only drink Water or black coffee. I do zumba and the elliptical. A friend was banded at the same time and eats any food, any amounts and is losing 8-10 lbs a month. I don't know if I have too much Fluid, not enough.... No one believed before my surgery that I didn't eat like I looked like I ate and was afraid this would happen. I probably eat a quarter of what my friend eats and she is dropping like crazy now. I know everyone is different but this is so upsetting. My Dr. says it's OK I have plenty time but I get so upset when I go back and forth with the same three lbs and others around me are losing 50 to 60 lbs. Has anyone else had this problem? How do I know if I have too much fluid or not enough. I saw one of the side effects of too much is poor weight loss. How??

Ditto banana and JustMe...me too exactly...35 lbs

only...beyond frustrated when watching so closely- doing what I am supposed to do and just no results.

While I am happy for all of those who are nearing 60 - 70 lbs with surgery at the same time as me...I could spit nails as to why I am not right there beside them. I can understand if I was not following the plan but I AM.???? I do track and all is where it is suppose to be...

Am trying another theory this week and will try it for 2 weeks and see what happens...fingers crossed but not holding my breath either.

My doctor does not want to give me any more fills as she thinks I "should be there by now"??????? (umm...I guess not comparing yourself to others doesnt apply to the drs even though they say not to compare yourself to someone elses green zone???)

I hate to say but I honestly feel no help what from my band. :(

I wont give up yet but getting getting harder and harder to want to even try with no results happening.

WE CAN DO THIS :)

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
