when you are in the green zone do you feel fuller faster when you don't have as much food slipping through as fast. i haven't had my first fill yet and i'm scared that im going to keep feeling hungry. will i eventually know that i'm good during the meal, because i feel like i dont get that feeling till 20 minutes after im done eating without the fill and thats too late

When you can eat a cup of food or 8oz and feel full for 4ish hours and steadily lose weight. I don't think it is about feeling fuller faster, it is sticking to the cup of food and being satisfied. I have had 4 fills and am 5 months post op and might just be in the zone.

full was a bad choice of words, do you get that satisfied feeling faster with fills in your band? because like i said im just now able to eat what i want and ate around 2-2.5 cups last night, and i didnt feel satisfied for a long time after ward.

I have never felt full with the band...perhaps someone can explain the feeling.....

Feeling satisfied is closer, but still not accurate for me.....

What I experience is being "Not Hungry"...and it is not just between meals...it is there 24/7 just as the band is there 24/7....

It's more of a mental thing than a physical thing for me, that's why the terms "Full" or "satisfied" don't describe it for me....

I am simnply not hungry...I do not feel the need to eat, therefore I do not have an interest in eating, or food for that matter....

I have to remind myself to eat, and have to create eating habits and schedules purely for nutritional benefits....not because I am hungry...

Yes, there is head hunger...when you see something and then desire it..perhaps from past experiences.....but even then, one bite or 2 and I realize I really did not want it....and I ask myself what am I eating this for?

As you can see from the chart...the Green Zone states "Not Hungry"...does not mention feeling "Full" or "Satisfied".....

Although the word "satisfied" is used...but that is referring to "patient satisfaction"...if all the above is working for you, how can you not be "satisfied" or Happy, or Pleased, and Thrilled, etc, etc...in nother words

you have no complaints and could not ask for more.....

You will feel like your dieting until 3 to 4 fills. I am feeling great at 5 but felt good after 3. I have to eat slow and not get to a full feeling. You will regret it if you go that far. Eating Protein is a key to weight loss.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
