Help!! Flipped lapband wound will not heal

Hello friends-

I am 3 years post surgery and started having complications with my band. Initially, I had a wound on my skin area where the port is located. Dr. thought it was an infection but it wasn't. Next he scheduled me for surgery and realized that my band had flipped!!!!!! I had surgery and now the area still has not healed!!! My doctor says that it could be because of the sutures and he may have to use staples....So now he wants to perform another surgery!!!

Please help if anyone has ever had any of these problems!!!

Your band flipped? I'm not sure that's physically possible unless your stomach flips with it. Do you mean you had a slip maybe? Or possibly your port flipped?
