someone please scare me!!!

Recommended Posts

So I'm on day 13 post-op n have been having more n more BLT'S. I should b having mushy food only. I want someone to scare me cause I'm not sure what type of damage I could b doing. Overall I'm doing well on my mushys but for instance last night I made some chicken n had a couple bites n today I had 1 teriyaki chicken wing. I feel like I have no restrictions. I have been following the 1 cup 3-4 Times a day n my doc said he tightened my band a little at surgery. I won't see him till another week.

to have success with the lap band, you have to eat better foods in smaller amounts and believe in yourself. the other posters were 100% right. you chose to eat foods you were not suppose to, you made that decision and then afterwards thought of what could go wrong....you have to get into the mental game of this. it is not a miracle. it wont (save your life) until YOU make that decision to want it bad enough to do something about it. leave all excuses, all drama and all woe is me to the curb....my hub told me once (you wanted this so do what you have to do).....i have not strayed off course yet...

instead of finding reasons you cant, find reasons you CAN.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
