I stayed over night and just got home . I feel terrible ! We were not allowed to have anything no Water no ice chips to about one hour before I was allowed to leave. My room was by the nurses station and had to keep buzzing the buzzer to tell them to shut the door and to keep it down. And the room next to me was wailing for some reason. I had a very nice roommate but both of us feel terrible. This belly pain is not anywhere near sit up pain. My favorite saying"this to shall pass" I got to believe tomorrow i will feel better .

It gets better. That's why I wanted to come home last night. Nothing like sleeping at home. Plus with everything that happened in CT yesterday I needed to come home and hug my baby!

I am Dec 4th and in jupiter florida.

I have been doing liquid with Jello and pudding since wednesday. I am down 8.5 pounds. But i think i am coming down with a cold, gosh I hope not I dont want my surgery canceled. It seems like the past few days I have been around so many sick people!!!!

I am Dec. 14th also. I am getting nervous but know this is a piece of cake. I had the gastric bypass 9 years ago and I struggled with recovery. I had a friend that had the lap band and my dad has also and their recovery was quick and speedy. We will both do great! Good luck!

Good luck to everyone! I am Friday also. Had pre-op appt today so it feels "official" now. If anyone is looking for a "buddy" since most of us are on the same day let me know.
