Wow I have never been numbed at a fill! How awesome for you!

I think everyone should be numbed. But maybe I'm just a big baby. Lol

Had fill today and barely felt it.

Can you imagine what it would feel like without being numbed? Ouch!

I got my second fill today with numbing, thank you very much!

I don't think I would have went through with it. How much do you have total? 2.5cc for me, they said that counts tubing and band.

I have never been numbed either!! & I have been banded for 5yrs...fills & unfills!

Was not numbed for my first fill either and it was really no big deal. Just like getting blood drawn. A little stick and all done.

So I'm just wondering... What is a filling????? Sounds painful!! :-(

So I'm just wondering... What is a filling????? Sounds painful!! :-(

Filling is when the Dr injects saline into your band to give you the restriction to help you feel more satisfied with less food for longer periods of time. Some ppl need multiple fills to get there and some ppl need very little or none.

It is not painful. Like I said in previous post, a little stick, like a shot and all done. The thought of it is more painful than the actual injection!
