Tootin Not Good Time

Surgery was 5 months ago Thanksgiving day. I've lost 43 lbs. To begin with things were fairly normal after surgery. Now I am noticing that am tootin a lot- I mean all the time! It's not just when I eat veggies like broccoli or things like Beans. It makes no difference what I eat I am gassy.

I burp rarely, but toot likily thousands of times a day. Thanks goodness I have my own office. I know TMI- it doesn't smell, but it's just annoying and I am always scared it will slip out when someone walks in.

Anyone else having these issues? Would Beano help?

Ya know, I was laying in bed last night wondering if the band made you more gasey or not! Thanks for the thread!

Okay, I am 4 years banded and the gas is still there. Some days are worst than others. I have learned to act like nothing is happening and look at everyone else as if it came out of them. I have mastered the "innocent look" like it was not me and go about my business. At home, my husband laughs so hard because after being with me for 33 years he cannot believe someone can have that much gas in them and live! Oh well, I look and feel great and some days are worst then others but try to pretend like nothing is happening and it sure works for me and people wonder if they really heard that or not. It's all in the "look". Be happy and enjoy the new you, with or without gas.

It happened to me again this evening! I was doing my work and my stomach was being SO loud. I just looked away, trying to think of what I was gonna say back to..."Madam, are you ok?" when it got out of control. Well, no one said anything but I was so noervous!

Haha I'm so glad some one brought this up I'm exactly the same comes out both ends lol it's crazy I was never this gassy before!! I keep telling my family sorry its not my fault...lol they just laugh!!
