Wow I Finally Look Skinny

Recommended Posts

112lbs lost as of this morning. I am 175. I looked in the mirror and said girl you look so skinny. I will make it to my goal of 160 by my birthday in January. Rocking 50 with a new me. You see with perseverence you can do it. It takes work. It takes dedication. Did I slip up ever? Yes I did and spent six months of ice cream fetishing but then I got myself back on deck and feeling very proud of myself now. I have not weighed 160 for 31 years since I gave birth to my son. Gonna get a tatoo for my birthday that says " I learned to be in love with myself" !

Congrats!! It does take a lot of perseverance and hard work. I laughed at the ice cream comment as I went through that too. You are doing great and can get to your goal.

That feeling of wow, is this really me. Hits so randomly sometimes.

BJL, I hope to get my first tattoo on my 50th next year! I am going to do an ankle Bracelet with my daughter and granddaughters name on it. I will be scared because i heard they hurt around that area, but I am going to do it!! My gift to myself!

Good luck ladies ya'll will be getting ur tatoos i'd love to see pics of them when u do.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
