Dec 13 Lap Band

This is my first post... I'm Scheduled for lap band December 13 And I'm very nervous.

I'm having a problem telling some of my friends that I'm having surgery. I have told a few people, but I got some negative comments so I stopped telling people. Has anyone else have this problem, and if so how do I handle this if it happens again?

A lot of people feel the way you do. It is your buisness and you should be able to tell who you want. Do what feels best for you. I dont really have any suggestions because i dont feel i could hide it. For starters I eat really small meals and measure out everything even if I go out. Plus it takes me forever to eat everything. I have always been wide open about things and sometimes they are not received well but they are only opinons. The people who love me support me and that is all that matters to me. Sometimes you just have to get thick skin. Best of luck on your wonderfull new journey. Be true to yoursef. This is for you. Be selfish!
