Was anyone more sore the second day the the first?

My ab area still feels pretty the same slightly more sore which I expected but both my arms and upper thighs are super sore too. Is this normal? It feels like I had a bad full body workout.

It doesn't feel like gas just wondering if others experienced this and about how long it took to not be sore

I'm in my second day post op as well and I do feel like I'm in more pain. I still don't know if I have all the gas out though. I've been up and walking since yesterday about two hours after my surgery. Are u having problems getting Jello down? It hurts when I attempt it

I had mine in July - yes I was just tired the first day. I think the third day was the worst for me. I think it's because all the lovely drugs totally wore off. :) It's normal to feel what you are feeling. Getting in and out of bed sucked for about a week.

I'm very sore..day five today. It hurts to do anything...I can't bend down, get off bed, or even lay comfortably. I have so much pain in my back, I think from how I'm walking and using back instead of stomache muscles to do everything.

If you are only two days post op you aren't suppose to be doing Jello

It's Clear liquids only, you are allowed sugar free Popsicles though

Days 3-7 is where you are allowed jello

Yea my doctor said sugar free Jello was ok for day 2, popsicles are day 3-7. It's funny how each doctor is different.

It makes sense I guess though since Jello can melt in your mouth

I am 4 days post op now. I had a severe reaction to the adhesive they used on my incision sites so I have alot of itchy hives and blisters around my incision. I also have extreme bloating- I feell lik I look pregant or have cirroris. The days are getting better though. Incisions get itchy as they dry and you stretch them from moving. I have been living off sugar free popsicles, cant stand Jello and cant stand Protein Shakes. I have already had pudding and apple juice. I havent had any major swelling because I can down a glass of Water in no time with no discomfort. This weekend will be my first days back and work so we will see how it goes there. I packed a lot of pudding, made those cottage cheese casseroles and apple sauce. I havent been starving which is good- but lots of gas!

I'm on my 2nd day post op, I feel fine. I have felt great for most of my time after surgery so far with the exception of yesterday around 4 I started getting a lot of gas pains. I felt them more while I was doing my walking excercises, but seemed easier to pass once I sat or layed down after walking. I have been on clear fluids only, and doc said I can start mushy tomm. I don't feel hungry or even have the desire to eat anything I am not supposed to. Which I am very thankful for. In the last 4 days I have lost 6 pounds. I know most of that is due to being on a liquid diet for 3 of those days, but I will take the weightloss anyway it wants to come. :-)

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
