  1. Thank you! I am so glad its not just me!
  2. Did anyone notice that they had bad breath after surgery? I'm 2 weeks post op and ever since my surgery I've had bad breath even though I brush and use mouthwash daily. I was just wondering if this was normal and if it goes away once I'm completely healed?
  3. Yes, just make the soup like you normally would, but drain the noodles out. I used Campbells cup of soup chicken noodle
  4. I had the same problem with not going for days, I just used 1 packet of miralax mixed in with my iced tea and I went within an hour. Miralax is tasteless and if u wait a few.minutes after u mix it in your drink it completely dissolves.
  5. My doctor told me it was ok to do that..so that's what I did. I bought the soup in a box and just drained the noodles out. It was definitely better than plan broth
  6. I'm trying to add a profile picture and update my info, but I can't find where to do that. I use the LBT application in my phone, do I need to edit from my computer?
  7. I have found that I can tolerate the protein powder with milk, but it does take me forever to drink it because it isn't the best tasting stuff and the texture is alittle gritty. I was going to mix it in the blender with low fat/fat free ice cream and make a milkshake out of it. I'm just wondering what works for others?

  11. Yea my doctor said sugar free jello was ok for day 2, popsicles are day 3-7. It's funny how each doctor is different.
  12. I'm in my second day post op as well and I do feel like I'm in more pain. I still don't know if I have all the gas out though. I've been up and walking since yesterday about two hours after my surgery. Are u having problems getting jello down? It hurts when I attempt it
  13. Thanks everyone. The pain is getting better. I plan on going outside today and talking a short walk. I am so glad I found this app on my phone. It helped prepare me for surgery and so far its helped with post surgery. Thank you for the heating pad and laxatives advice. I'm going to do both.

  18. I got my band today. I'm glad the surgery is over! I was beyond scared this morning. But I'm feeling pretty well. The gas pain is more painful than the incisions...its feels like I'm having a heart attack, but I've been up and walking and the pain is slowly going away. So now I'm on the road to recovery! Good luck to the upcoming banders!!
  19. I had my surgery I'm in some pain, but nothing too dramatic. It's going to take some getting used to that's for sure. Do you have facebook? I would definitely like to stay in contact with a fellow bander
  20. He is doing mine tomorrow morning. I'm scared, but can't wait for it to be over with
  21. Yea, I got Whey Protein powder..have yet it try it. I had cream of chicken soup for lunch and pudding for breakfast. I'm lucky though..I only have 4 days of this pre op and then 7 days post op. I'll be ok! Staying busy us working on cutting the hunger. And staying positive is too! Thank you whoever told me that!!
