Your worry about band slippage from eating the pizza was appropriate. One of the common causes of band slippage is failure to follow the post-op diet progression. But since that pizza incident is in the past, the best thing you can do is to acknowledge the lesson learned and move on. So it's time to stop beating yourself up over it.

To my understanding the bad part of the pizza is the crust. I found a link on LBT with recipes on grinding cauliflower and using the for crust. Everything would be "mushy" then except the pepperoni

Hope you're eyes a dry by now. I am sure the majority of us have eaten something we weren't supposed to on certain stages. Just get back on track. I've had pizza too, early on when I first went on solids, only had half a slice and it made me sick because it was too heavy. The smell was much nicer than the taste!

Hugs you'll be fine, it's all new with this lapband and takes time and willpower.

I'm here crying my eyes out' date=' I broke down today and ate 2 slices of thin crust pizza . I'm in my mushie phase of the diet so I know I'm not suppose to eat things like that . I feel so bad about what I've done, because I've been doing so well <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' /> I really need some comfort right now <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />[/quote']

if people are honest . . . we all have an occassional "oops" it is impossible to do everything perfect just because you have had lap band surgery. it is not failure until you quit trying. tomorrow is a new day ---> move on

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
