I was banded 8/1/2012 but started my weight loss journey 6 months prior losing 30lbs before surgery. I'm still 38lbs away from goal but I wanted to share my success so far...60lbs...GONE!

Thanks! As of today, I am176.4lbs...I've lost 31.6lbs since surgery and 30lbs before. The great part is that it took me 6 months to lose the weight before and only 2 1/2 months after. I love my band!

Wow you look great !! I go next week to speak to a surgeon at NYU . I'm still not sure ?? I was thinking of doing the Gastric sleeve but the thought of cutting my stomach makes me very nervous so I'm now leaning towards the Lap band . Do you still feel the hunger ? Can you give me any input ?? Thank you

Thanks! I still get hungry but I am satisfied with less food and I can go several hours until I feel hungry again. My surgeon put 3.6 cc's in my band at the time of surgery and I have not needed a fill yet.
